Fishing over the last couple of weeks has been a little patchy, but with perfect tides this week the Little Howard lived up to its name. Fished friday with locals Grant and Chris and visiter Phil and we bagged eight good fish with biggest being a very healthy 93cm fish caught by Phil. Grant lost a bigger fish to the trees later in the session so the big fish are still around. Fished yesterday with Greaham & Sally from Humptydoo and we got six fish untill I managed to lose all the live bait from the bucket.
Did a tour to the Vernon Islands last week which was a little quiet but we did manage a dozen mangrove jacks and some good size queen fish.
Crabs just keep on coming in Shoal Bay. Yesterday we got 17 crabs from six pots and a client took my hire boat on friday and got his bag of thirty crabs without leaving Buffallo Creek.
